ABSTRACT This study aims to analyze the implementation of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) principles and their implementation strategies in developing Human Resources (HR) potential at Bank Syariah Indonesia KCP Banyumas Sokaraja. GCG principles that include transparency, accountability, responsibility, independence, and fairness are important references in professional and ethical Islamic bank governance. Strengthening GCG principles is considered relevant to support institutional performance, while strengthening the quality and competitiveness of HR as the main driver of operational success. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods with data collection techniques through field research methods, namely direct field approaches to Bank Syariah Indonesia KCP Banyumas Sokaraja. The data collection techniques used are direct observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The data sources used in this study consisted of Branch Managers, organic employees, and vendor employees involved in bank operations. Data analysis techniques use data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the application of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) principles at BSI KCP Banyumas Sokaraja is in line with the HR development strategy. Transparency through morning briefings and regular training is a means of increasing technical capacity and work ethics. Although there are differences in quality between organic and vendor employees, the principles of fairness and responsibility are maintained. Overall, the implementation of GCG in this branch is proven to improve performance, service, and customer trust, as well as being an effective strategy in HR development in Islamic banking.
