THE EFFECT OF USING COMIC STRIPS ON STUDENTS' WRITING SKILLS AT 9TH GRADE OF MTS AL-ISHLAH LAREN BREBES
Abstract: Students are expected to use writing to organize information, and arrange their thoughts. As a result, incorporating entertaining instructional resources such as comic strips into lessons is advantageous since it enables pupils to develop their creative writing. The purpose of this study is to assess how comic strips affect the writing skills of ninth-grade students at MTs Al-Ishlah Laren Brebes. For this research, a quantitative methodology using a quasi-experimental framework was used. 70 student population in the study. Simple random sampling was used to choose a sample of 28 students from this group. Class 9-A made up the experimental group, and class 9-C served as the control group. Pre-tests and post-tests were given as part of the data collection process. IBM SPSS Statistics 27 was used for data analysis, and the t-test was applied.
