Every educational institution essentially strives to develop students who are not only intellectually competent but also emotionally and spiritually mature. However, the current dynamics of adolescent development present serious challenges in character building, particularly in terms of the ability to recognize, understand, and manage oneself in a healthy manner. This study aims to examine the relationship between religiosity and self-awareness among students of SMP IT Harapan Bunda Purwokerto. This research employed a quantitative approach with a correlational research design. The instrument used was a Likert-scale questionnaire designed to measure two main variables: religiosity, based on the theory of Huber & Huber, and self-awareness, referring to Santrock’s theory. The data were processed with the assistance of SPSS Version 31 for windows. The results indicate a strong and significant positive correlation between religiosity and self-awareness among the students. The Pearson correlation test yielded a correlation coefficient of r = 0.710 with a significance value of p = 0.001 p < 0.05, leading to the rejection of the null hypothesis (H_0) and acceptance of the alternative hypothesis (H_1).
