PENGEMBANGAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KONSTRUKTIVISTIK BERBASIS TUTOR SEBAYA UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KETERAMPILAN LITERASI NUMERASI SISWA MADRASAH IBTIDAIYAH DI LEMBAGA PENDIDIKAN MA’ARIF NU KABUPATEN BANYUMAS
ABSTRAK PENGEMBANGAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KONSTRUKTIVISTIK BERBASIS TUTOR SEBAYA UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KETERAMPILAN LITERASI NUMERASI SISWA MADRASAH IBTIDAIYAH DI LEMBAGA PENDIDIKAN MA’ARIF NU KABUPATEN BANYUMAS ALDI PRASETYO NIM. 214130100020 Kemampuan literasi numerasi siswa Indonesia berada di level rendah jika dilihat dari hasil survei lembaga-lembaga internasional seperti PISA dan PIRLS maupun penilaian dari AKM (Asesmen Kompetensi Minimum). Beragam upaya sudah dilakukan namun perolehan skor tetap belum membuahkan hasil yang signifikan. Berangkat dari masalah tersebut, peneliti kemudian mencari pokok masalahnya dengan mensurvei 32 guru-guru MI terkait kondisi di lapangan. Berdasarkan hasil survei, salah satu kebutuhan yang diperlukan adalah adanya model pembelajaran yang efektif untuk meningkatkan keterampilan literasi numerasi siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan model pembelajaran yang efektif untuk meningkatkan keterampilan literasi numerasi siswa MI di LP Ma’arif NU Kabupaten Banyumas. Metode yang digunakan yaitu research and development model dari Borg dan Gall yang terdiri dari 10 langkah. Tahapan 10 langkah tersebut, yaitu: (1) Research and information collecting. Peneliti menelaah data dari hasil penilaian organisasi internasional, hasil AKM, hasil survei guru MI di Kabupaten Banyumas, dan observasi pendahuluan; (2) Planning. Mencari landasan teori pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan permasalahan yang ada; (3) Develop preliminary form a product. Menyusun draf model pembelajaran konstruktivistik berbasis tutor sebaya dan memvalidasikan pada pakar; (4) Preliminary field testing. Melakukan uji lapangan awal di MI Ma’arif NU 2 Sidamulih; (5) Main product revision. Mengevaluasi dan memperbaiki hasil uji coba awal; (6) Main field testing. Melakukan uji coba lapangan utama di 2 MI, yaitu MI Ma’arif NU Cipete dan MI Ma’arif NU Dawuhanwetan; (7) Operational product revision. Mengevaluasi dan memperbaiki hasil uji coba utama; (8) Operational product testing. Melakukan uji coba lapangan operasional di 5 MI, yaitu di MI Ma’arif NU Sawangan Wetan, MI Ma’arif NU Beji, MI Ma’arif NU 2 Sidamulih, MI Ma’arif NU Tamansari, MI Darul Hikmah Bantarsoka; (9) Final product revision. Penyempurnaan produk hasil uji coba lapangan operasional; (10) Dissemination and implementation. Pelaporan hasil. Pengumpulan data menggunakan tes. Sedangkan analisis datanya menggunakan analisis deskriptif dengan mengacu pada nilai N-Gain. Hasil penelitian dan pengembangan ini menghasilkan produk berupa buku panduan implementasi model pembelajaran Peer-Construct Learning (PCL). Berdasarkan hasil uji coba yang dilakukan di 5 MI didapat hasil sebagai berikut: (1) MI Ma’arif NU Sawangan Wetan nilai N-Gain sebesar 0,5813; (2) MI Ma’arif NU Beji nilai N-Gain sebesar 0,6273; (3) MI Ma’arif NU 2 Sidamulih nilai N-Gain sebesar 0,5679; (4) MI Ma’arif NU Tamansari nilai N-Gain sebesar 0,6676; (5) MI Darul Hikmah Bantarsoka nilai N-Gain sebesar 0,6179. Hasil itu menunjukan bahwa model pembelajaran PCL yang peneliti kembangkan mampu secara efektif meningkatkan keterampilan literasi numerasi siswa MI di LP Ma’arif NU Kabupaten Banyumas dengan kategori “sedang”. Adapun tingkat kepraktisannya, produk yang peneliti kembangkan masuk kriteria “praktis” dan “sangat praktis”. Penelitian ini memiliki keterbatasan jumlah lokasi uji coba. Penelitian ini masih bisa dilanjutkan dengan menguji cobakan kembali di lokasi yang memiliki karakteristik berbeda di Kabupaten Banyumas. ABSTRACT DEVELOPMENT OF A PEER TUTOR-BASED CONSTRUCTIVISTIC LEARNING MODEL TO IMPROVE NUMERACY LITERACY SKILLS OF MADRASAH IBTIDAIYAH STUDENTS IN MA'ARIF NU EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS IN BANYUMAS REGENCY ALDI PRASETYO NIM. 214130100020 The numeracy literacy skills of Indonesian students are at a low level when seen from the survey results of international institutions such as PISA and PIRLS as well as the assessment of AKM (Minimum Competency Assessment). Various efforts have been made but the score has not produced significant results. Departing from this problem, the researcher then looked for the main problem by surveying 32 MI teachers related to conditions in the field. Based on the survey results, one of the needs is an effective learning model in improving students' numeracy literacy skills. This research aims to develop an effective learning model to improve the numeracy literacy skills of MI students in LP Ma'arif NU Banyumas Regency. The method used is the research and development model from Borg and Gall which consists of 10 steps. The 10 steps are:(1) Research and information collecting. The researcher reviewed data from international organization assessment results, AKM results, MI teacher survey results in Banyumas Regency, and preliminary observations; (2) Planning. Looking for a theoretical basis for learning that is in accordance with existing problems; (3) Develop preliminary form a product. Developing a draft of a peer tutor-based constructivistic learning model and validating it to experts; (4) Preliminary field testing. Conducting initial field tests at MI Ma'arif NU 2 Sidamulih; (5) Main product revision. Evaluating and improving the results of initial trials; (6) Main field testing. Conducting main field trials in 2 MI, namely MI Ma'arif NU Cipete and MI Ma'arif NU Dawuhanwetan; (7) Operational product revision. Evaluating and improving the results of the main trial; (8) Operational product testing. Conducting operational field trials in 5 MI, namely in MI Ma'arif NU Sawangan Wetan, MI Ma'arif NU Beji, MI Ma'arif NU 2 Sidamulih, MI Ma'arif NU Tamansari, MI Darul Hikmah Bantarsoka; (9) Final product revision. Refinement of products from operational field trials; (10) Dissemination and implementation. Reporting of results. Data collection using tests. While the data analysis uses descriptive analysis with reference to the N-Gain value. The results of this research and development produced a product in the form of a guidebook for the implementation of Peer-Construct Learning (PCL) model. Based on the results of trials conducted in 5 MI, the following results were obtained: (1) MI Ma'arif NU Sawangan Wetan N-Gain value of 0,5813; (2) MI Ma'arif NU Beji N-Gain value of 0,6273; (3) MI Ma'arif NU 2 Sidamulih N-Gain value of 0,5679; (4) MI Ma'arif NU Tamansari N-Gain value of 0,6676; (5) MI Darul Hikmah Bantarsoka N-Gain value of 0,6179. The results showed that the peer tutor-based constructivistic learning model that the researchers developed was able to effectively improve the numeracy literacy skills of MI students in LP Ma'arif NU Banyumas Regency with a “medium” category. As for the level of practicality, the product developed by the researcher is included in the “practical” and "very practical" criteria. This research has limitations in the number of testing locations. This research can still be continued by testing again in locations with different characteristics in Banyumas Regency.
